Terms, privacy, and the limits of an AI teacher.
Five short documents, written plainly on purpose. Nothing here is hidden in a longer version.
Version 1.16, in force from 8 November 2026. Questions about any of it: hello@kruujai.com.
Terms of use
The agreement between you and Kruu Jaidee when you use the app or the website. Written plainly on purpose; nothing here is hidden in a longer version. Version 1.16, in force from 8 November 2026.
Who we are
Kruu Jaidee is offered by a sole trader in Thailand, trading as Kruu Jaidee (“we”, “us”). Payments are taken on its behalf by Stripe. For anything at all, write to hello@kruujai.com.
You agree to these terms, the privacy notice, the refund policy and what the teacher can and cannot do (all on this page) by ticking the box when you claim your free credits or set up your account, and again when you pay. That electronic agreement is as binding as a signed one under Thailand’s Electronic Transactions Act.
What this is
Kruu Jaidee teaches Thai from its own course, adapted for an AI teacher. The teacher is an AI voice, not a person, and it says so on every screen it appears on.
It is for learning Thai. It is not a translation service, and nothing it says is legal, medical, financial, immigration or safety advice. Do not rely on it where a mistake would matter; ask a qualified person.
Your account
One account, one learner. You sign in with your email address and a code we send you; there is no password to lose. Do not share your account or let someone else learn on it.
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your email account secure. Tell us at once if you think someone else has it.
Age and language
The course itself contains no adult material.
The teacher will, if you ask her to, explain informal and rude language — slang, and swearing — because they are part of how Thai is really spoken and you will hear them. She keeps it to one such word a lesson, never raises it herself, and marks it as language she has not had checked by a native speaker.
You must be 13 or older to use Kruu Jaidee. If you are under 18, you need your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission, and they should read these terms with you. Where you live, adulthood may come later (in Thailand it is 20): until then, the same permission is needed, and a parent or guardian agrees to these terms and pays on your behalf.
Parental guidance is advised, for the reason above: ask her about slang and she will teach it, the way a tutor asked the same question would. A parent who would rather that did not happen should take the lessons alongside their child, which is the better lesson anyway.
Data-protection law is a separate question from content: in Thailand and elsewhere a parent or guardian must agree on a young person’s behalf before their voice may be processed. That agreement is what the permission above means.
Paying
Everything is paid in credits. A plan adds credits each month, and you can buy more, in packs or as an amount you choose; all of them go into one balance. Lessons spend credits by the minute, and you are always asked before credits are spent. Credits last 12 months from the day they are added, and the oldest are spent first.
Payments are taken by Stripe, on its own secure page: your card details never reach Kruu Jaidee. Prices are in Thai baht and are the full price you pay; if you pay with a card in another currency, your bank may add a conversion fee. Credits come with a paid plan: you need Lite or Full to buy more. The one exception is free credits we give, such as the 3 a new account can claim once: they are free, cannot be refunded, have no cash value and expire like other credits.
A plan is paid monthly or for a year up front, and renews on the same term until you cancel. A yearly plan adds its credits month by month, the same amount each month as the monthly plan. Refunds are covered in "Refunds and cancellation" below.
We may change prices. A new price never applies to a plan you already have unless we have told you at least 30 days before your renewal at that price, and you can cancel before it does. A yearly plan renews at the price you paid.
Using Kruu Jaidee fairly
Do not use Kruu Jaidee to break the law, to harass anyone (the teacher included), or to make it say something harmful. Do not try to get round a plan’s limits, reach another learner’s record, overload or probe the service, copy it with automated tools, or resell access to it.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that is being used to attack the service or to redistribute the course. Where we can, we tell you why first and give you the chance to put it right. If we close an account for any other reason, we refund the unused part of the credits you paid for.
Gangs
Every account is placed in a Gang of up to six learners of any level. The members of your Gang see your handle, which days this week you did Today’s 10, this week’s gain in Your Thai, the stops you have reached, your tone results this week and the cheers you give and get. They never see your name, your email or your total. A member can also nudge someone in the Gang who has done none of Today’s 10 for 2 days in a row and is not on a break, once a week per person; only the person nudged sees it. In Gang settings you can change your handle, switch Gang once a week, or leave.
Once a day (Bangkok time), we compare every learner who did any of Today’s 10 this week (Monday to Sunday) by how much their Your Thai grew this week. Practice partners count in the comparison but never get a place. If at least 10 learners were compared, your gain is above 0 and you are in the top half, you see your place as a band: top 1%, 5%, 10%, 25% or 50%. On Monday you also see last week’s place, which no longer changes. No one else sees your place unless you share it; a shared card shows your handle and your place.
Find a Gang (open to anyone using the app, even before signing up) and How other Gangs are doing (open to anyone with an account) show each Gang’s number or name, its host’s handle if it has one, and its free seats. For a Gang with at least 3 members who are not practice partners, they also show its average weekly gain in Your Thai over recent weeks and, in How other Gangs are doing, its average days of Today’s 10 this week, so no one member’s figures show.
A handle is 3 to 20 letters, numbers or underscores. It must not be someone else’s name, be offensive, or pretend to be Kruu Jaidee. We can change a handle that breaks these rules.
To keep new Gangs active, some Gang members may be practice partners run by Kruu Jaidee. They leave as Gangs fill with learners. On the 10,000 card, the number who have joined counts every learner account, free or paid, and the practice partners currently in Gangs. The 25% Thai count may include some practice partners; when it does, the card says how many. Staff and test accounts are never counted. Practice partners never affect a learner’s own certificate number.
A link to a friend’s Gang gives a new account 20% off the first month of a monthly plan bought on the website, as a referral link does. It does not apply to purchases through the App Store.
What belongs to whom
The course, the app, its recordings, the name Kruu Jaidee and its look are ours or licensed to us. You may use them to learn. You may not republish them, resell them, or use them to train another model.
What you say and write in your lessons stays yours. You let us use it only as the privacy notice says: to teach you, keep your record and run the service.
The dictionary in search comes from Wiktionary and Volubilis under their own open licence (CC BY-SA 4.0), named on each word.
The service, and changes to it
We work to keep Kruu Jaidee available and correct, but it is an online service built on others (OpenAI, Google Cloud, Stripe) and it will sometimes be down, slow or wrong. Credits held for a lesson that fails because of us go back to you, as the refund policy says.
We improve Kruu Jaidee all the time, so features will change, and some may be added to or removed from a plan. If a change takes away something a plan you pay for clearly includes, we tell you by email at least 14 days before, and you can cancel before it happens.
Responsibility
We teach with care, and the teacher’s limits are set out under "What the teacher can and cannot do". Apart from what these terms promise and what the law requires, Kruu Jaidee is provided as it is, without other guarantees.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable or that does not come directly from our breach (such as lost profit, business or opportunity), and our total responsibility to you for all claims is limited to what you paid Kruu Jaidee in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have as a consumer under Thailand’s Consumer Protection Act, its Unfair Contract Terms Act, or the consumer law of the country you live in.
Stopping
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. It removes your learning record, including transcripts, and cancels any plan you pay for, so nothing more is charged. Unused credits are not refunded when you delete your account, except as the refund policy says.
If Kruu Jaidee closes for good, we tell you at least 30 days before and refund the unused part of the credits you paid for, as the refund policy says.
Changes to these terms
We may update these documents as Kruu Jaidee changes or the law does. The version and the date it took effect are shown here. A change that affects you in a significant way is emailed to you at least 14 days before it takes effect; if you do not accept it, you can stop and delete your account before then, and a plan you have already paid for keeps the terms it was bought under until its current month or year ends.
Law and disputes
If something goes wrong, write to hello@kruujai.com first: we reply within 7 days and try to settle any complaint within 30. These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and the courts of Thailand decide any dispute that cannot be settled. If you live in another country, you also keep the protection of its consumer law, and you can bring a claim where you live.
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. These documents are the whole agreement between us about Kruu Jaidee.
Privacy
What is collected, where it goes, how long it stays and how to be rid of it, as Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) requires. The short version is on the screen you saw before your first voice lesson; this is the same thing at more length.
Who is responsible for your data
Kruu Jaidee, a sole trader in Thailand, is responsible for your data (the “data controller”). For anything about your data, write to hello@kruujai.com. We reply within 7 days, and act on a request within 30 days.
You accept this notice, the terms of use and the transfer to OpenAI described below with one tick when you set up your account or claim your free credits.
Your voice
During a voice lesson your microphone is streamed to OpenAI, who run the voice model. That is what lets the teacher hear you.
No audio is recorded or stored by Kruu Jaidee. There is no recorder in the app and no audio file is ever written.
The connection is made by the app directly with OpenAI using a secret that lasts one session. The account key never reaches your device.
What is written down
What was said in your lessons with the teacher, as text, so she can remember your lesson and pick up where you stopped. Typed lessons, voice lessons and Just Talk all keep this transcript, and it goes when you delete your record. Where the teacher’s settings show “Your words in the transcript”, switching it off leaves out only your own words; hers are kept.
Your profile: the name you chose, your polite ending, how much Thai script you read, what you want Thai for, and anything you add under Your Thai life.
Your email address and the name you gave, for signing in. Each new sign-up is also sent to the company’s own mailbox (Google Workspace), so we know who has joined.
Your progress: which words you have met, how they went, and what is due for review.
Your Gang: your handle, which Gangs you have been in and when, the cheers and nudges you gave and got, and your place among learners this week and last week, each with how many learners were compared.
What you type into search is looked up and not kept. A question you ask Kruu Jaidee from search is a typed lesson, and is kept like one.
What lessons cost, so the service can be billed and budgeted.
If you refer friends: the PromptPay number or Thai bank account you give at your first claim, kept only to pay your claims and shown to you partly hidden, and each claim with its bank reference. The friends you referred appear to you by first name only, never their email. When you delete your account, your payout details are deleted, your link and code stop working, and any claim not yet paid and any money not yet claimed is cancelled. The record of each payment made to you (the amount, the date and the bank reference) is kept for the company’s accounts.
Notifications, and what is kept on your device
Kruu Jaidee can send seven kinds of message: a quick quiz on a word you have learnt (“What’s the Thai for …?”), your Thai milestones (your first word, then 1% and 2.5% of Thai, then every 5%), something to learn (a language or culture note from the course), a weekly summary on Monday morning, a Your week reminder in the evening when that day decides whether you do Today’s 10 on 5 days that week, cheers from your Gang (an alert only, at most one a day, after your own Today’s 10) and, under the same setting, nudges from your Gang (an alert only, at most one a day), and, only while you are on the free plan, help choosing a plan (a welcome, a note when you first use up a day’s free practice, a reminder if a checkout is not finished, your progress, a first-month offer after a week, and once, a note that free credits are waiting for a new account that has not claimed them). Each can come by email, as an alert on a phone, a browser or the iPhone app, or both. You choose in Settings → Notifications, and every email has a link that stops that kind.
Until you change them, every kind comes both by email and as an alert, except the milestones, which come only as alerts, and help choosing a plan, which comes only by email; alerts reach you only on a device where you have turned them on. Whatever you turn on, there are limits: at first, at most 2 alerts a day and 3 emails a week; turning more on allows up to 3 alerts a day and 7 emails a week. There are always at least 6 hours between two of them, and never more than one email a day. Nothing is sent between 10 pm and 7 am in your time zone, which is kept for that.
For a device with alerts on, we keep the address its push service gave it and the keys that let us encrypt alerts for it (in the iPhone app, the token Apple’s push service gave it), for up to five devices. Turning alerts off on a device, or deleting your record, removes them.
Three cookies of our own. Two on app.kruujai.com, each for something you asked for: your sign-in, and, only if you accept a friend’s invitation, which invitation it was, for up to 60 days or until your account is linked to it. One on kruujai.com and the app, for 90 days, saying where your visit came from (below), and, only when you came from an ad on Facebook or Instagram, a second one for 90 days holding that ad click’s id, in the form Meta reads. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel also set their own cookies on kruujai.com and the app (below).
How we know where people come from
When you visit kruujai.com, our own script notes where the visit came from: the link’s campaign tags, an advertising click id if the link had one, the website you came from (its name only, never the page), and the page you landed on. It keeps this in a cookie with a random visitor number, for 90 days, and tells the app once a day that a visitor came by.
kruujai.com and the app also use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to count visits and see which pages and screens are used. It receives the page’s address (never an invitation code or anything you type), your approximate location from your internet address, your device and browser type, and where the visit came from, and sets its own cookies to tell one visit from the next. Google keeps it under its own terms. We use it only to improve Kruu Jaidee, and nothing is sold.
kruujai.com and the app also use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd and Meta Platforms, Inc.), so we can tell whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram work and show them to people likely to want to learn Thai. The pixel, in your browser, tells Meta which pages and screens you open and when you start the free lessons, sign up, open a checkout or pay, with your device, browser and internet address, and sets its own cookies. Our server tells Meta when you arrive on kruujai.com from one of our ads, sign up, open a checkout and pay, with what was bought and its price, and, so Meta can match it to the ad you saw, your email address and an account number scrambled (hashed) so they cannot be read back, your internet address and browser, and the ad click’s id. Never your name, your lessons, anything you say or type, an invitation code, or card details; nothing is sent from the iPhone app, and accounts the business itself uses are left out. Meta uses it under its own terms, including to measure and improve ads. You can turn off ads based on this in your Facebook or Instagram settings (Accounts Centre → Ad preferences), or block these cookies in your browser; Kruu Jaidee works the same either way.
When you make an account, the app keeps where you came from with it, and it counts the steps everyone takes — visiting, signing up, starting and finishing the first lessons, meeting a plan’s limit, paying — so we can see which ways of finding Kruu Jaidee work and where people stop. Those counts hold no name, email or message, and an account the business itself uses is marked so it can be left out.
Apart from Google Analytics and Meta, above, none of this is shared with anyone. Advertising click ids are cleared after 90 days. When you delete your account, where you came from is deleted with it; the counts it was part of stay, with nothing linking them to you.
Which screens you use, and errors
We record which screens and tools you use, and any errors, to fix bugs and improve Kruu Jaidee. This record stays with us and is never given to an advertiser (the Meta Pixel, above, is separate).
It is kept in our own database, written by our own app, with or without an account. It holds the step (opening a tool, meeting a daily limit, choosing a plan), when, your plan, whether you were on a phone, a computer, the Mac app or the iPhone app, and whether the visit opened inside Instagram’s or Facebook’s own browser. It never holds your email, your name, your answers or anything you type.
The steps themselves are kept for 90 days. After that only each day’s totals stay, with nothing linking them to you. They are in your data download, and they are deleted with your account, or with a guest’s record when it goes.
How long it stays
Until you delete it. Nothing ages out on a timer, and that is deliberate rather than lazy: the record is how the teacher knows you. It holds what you have practised, what you struggled with, what you asked for and where you stopped. Delete it and she meets you as a stranger — which is exactly what you should be able to ask for, and is one button in Settings.
Your record is used to teach you. It is never pooled with anybody else’s, never used to train a model, and never read by another learner: every question the app asks of it is asked about one person.
On the Your Thai page, the members of your Gang see your handle, which days this week you did Today’s 10, this week’s gain in Your Thai, the stops you have reached, your tone results this week and the cheers you give and get. A nudge is seen only by the member it is sent to. Your name, your email, your total and the rest of your record stay private. Some Gang members may be practice partners run by Kruu Jaidee, not people. Once a day, we compare every learner who did any of Today’s 10 this week by how much their Your Thai grew; practice partners count in the comparison but never get a place. You may see your own place as a top %, and no one else sees it unless you share it. Find a Gang, which anyone using the app can open, and How other Gangs are doing, which anyone with an account can open, show each Gang’s number or name, its host’s handle if it has one, and its free seats. For a Gang with at least 3 members who are not practice partners, both also show its average weekly gain in Your Thai, and How other Gangs are doing also shows its average days of Today’s 10 this week; neither shows one person’s figures. Apart from these, the only figures counted across learners are how many have joined and how many have reached 25% Thai. Neither names anyone. The joined figure counts every learner account, free or paid, and the practice partners currently in Gangs. The 25% figure may include some practice partners; when it does, it says how many. Staff and test accounts are never counted.
Operational logs — which lesson moved to which section, what a call cost — are kept for 30 days and then go. The app’s own diagnostics file is capped at 5 MB: when it is full it replaces the one before, so there are never more than two. They exist to fix faults, not to teach.
Each sign-in keeps the IP address and the browser it was made from, so Settings can show your devices and we can stop misuse. A sign-in ends 30 days after you last used the app, or when you sign out, and is then deleted.
Backups are kept for 7 days. A deleted account is gone from them a week after it is deleted.
Who else sees it, and where it is kept
Your record is kept in Singapore, on Google Cloud. Learners in this first group are in Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia, so for most people their record sits in a country other than their own. It is named here because you are entitled to know which one.
During a lesson with the teacher, what you say (your voice or your typing) and the part of your record the lesson needs are sent to OpenAI, in the United States, which runs the voice and teaching models. The lesson cannot happen without it; you agree to it when you start one. Under OpenAI’s API terms it does not use this to train its models, and keeps it for up to 30 days to watch for abuse before deleting it.
These companies handle some of it, each doing one job on our behalf: OpenAI, for the voice and the teaching model; Google Cloud, which stores the record; Resend, which delivers our emails (your sign-in code, receipts when you pay, the notification emails you have chosen, emails that help you choose a plan while you are on the free plan (among them, once, a note that free credits are waiting), emails about your referrals, to someone who applies to be a Kruu Jaidee creator a note that we have their application, to someone who records the course’s audio, their own recording link, and news of Kruu Jaidee’s launch to people who showed an interest in learning Thai, each with a one-click unsubscribe) and carries notices of new sign-ups, creator applications, any feedback you send us and a daily summary to our own mailbox; Google Workspace, which is that mailbox; Stripe, which takes payments if you buy a plan or credits; Firebase Hosting, part of Google, which serves the kruujai.com website; Google Analytics, also part of Google, which counts visits to the website and the app; Meta, which measures our ads on Facebook and Instagram (above); and, only for a device where you turn alerts on, that device’s own push service (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft), which carries an alert it cannot read. Stripe holds your card and billing details; Kruu Jaidee never sees them, and keeps only what was bought, when, and for how much.
Inside Kruu Jaidee, the person who runs it can open a learner’s record (lessons, progress, plan and payments) and, for a referrer, the payout details, only to answer a question you ask, put a fault right or pay a claim. Nobody else at Kruu Jaidee can.
Nobody else. Your lessons are not sold, not shared, and not used to train anything.
Why we use it, and on what basis
Your account, profile, lessons and progress: to teach you. The basis is the agreement between us.
What you say in a lesson, sent to OpenAI in the United States: the lesson cannot happen without it. The basis is the agreement between us and, for the transfer abroad, that it is needed to give you the lesson you asked for.
Payments and the credits bought and used: for the accounts and tax. The basis is the law.
A note of each new sign-up, and the daily counts: to run the service. The basis is our legitimate interest in knowing who has joined.
Your Gang (being placed in one, what your Gang sees, cheers, nudges and the Gang averages): to run the community that comes with the app. The basis is the agreement between us; leaving your Gang in Gang settings ends this use. Your place among learners: to show you how your week compares with other learners’. The basis is the agreement between us; it carries on while you do Today’s 10, even if you leave your Gang.
Visit counts in Google Analytics: to see which pages and screens help people, and improve them. The basis is our legitimate interest in improving Kruu Jaidee.
The Meta Pixel and Conversions API: to measure our ads and show them to people likely to want them. The basis is our legitimate interest in finding learners; you can object at any time by writing to hello@kruujai.com, and turn off ads based on it in your Meta settings.
Getting it back, or getting rid of it
Settings → Account gives you your whole record as a file, and deletes it on request.
You can also have your data corrected, take it elsewhere, object to or ask us to limit a use of it, and withdraw a consent you gave: write to hello@kruujai.com. And you can complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
A deletion removes the learning record, the transcripts and the profile, and cancels any subscription you have with Stripe, so nothing more is charged. It also takes you out of your Gang: your handle, your seat and the cheers and nudges you gave and got are deleted. What the business must keep for its accounts stays, without your lessons in it: payments (what was bought, when and for how much, never card details), the credits bought and used, and what lessons cost. These are kept for as long as the tax rules require. If you reached 25% Thai, the count of people who did keeps your one; it holds nothing about you.
If something goes wrong
Your record is sent only over encrypted connections and stored encrypted by Google Cloud. Only the app itself and the person who runs Kruu Jaidee (as above) can reach it.
If your data is exposed, we tell the PDPC within 72 hours of knowing, and we tell you without delay where it puts you at risk.
Children
Kruu Jaidee is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep their data. A learner under 18 (under 20 in Thailand) needs a parent or guardian’s agreement, which also covers their voice being processed and their place in a Gang. Gangs mix ages: a learner of 13 or over can be in the same Gang as adults, and members know each other only by their handles. If you think a child is using Kruu Jaidee without it, write to hello@kruujai.com and we will delete the account.
Changes to this notice
If we change what we collect or who it goes to, we update this notice first and email you before the change applies to you. The version and date are at the top of the terms.
What the teacher can and cannot do
An AI teacher is useful and it is not a person. These are the limits, stated rather than discovered.
Pronunciation
The Tone Trainer measures your tones; the teacher can comment on what it shows. That comment is coaching, not assessment: it can be wrong, and it never marks a word as mastered.
Mastery in your record comes from deterministic exercises with known answers, never from the teacher’s ear.
The course, and everything beyond it
The teaching comes from Kruu Jaidee’s own course, written for learning with an AI teacher. Native speakers review it lesson by lesson, and that review is still going on: if you find a mistake, tell us and it is corrected for everyone.
She builds new sentences out of words the course has taught you — that is practice, and it is how a lesson goes beyond reciting the page.
Ask her something the course does not cover and she will answer, because a question you actually have is worth more than a tidy boundary. She tells you when she does: anything outside the course is marked as unchecked, is not from the course, and never counts towards what your record says you have learned. It has not been read by a native speaker, and until it has, treat it as a knowledgeable guess rather than as the course.
The dictionary in search is a public one (Wiktionary and Volubilis), not our course. Its meanings are other people’s, and the sound spelling shown with a word outside the course is worked out by the app, coloured by tone only where the Thai tone rules confirm it.
What this is not
It is not a qualification, an examination, or a substitute for a human teacher when you need one. An AI can be wrong while sounding sure: check anything important.
Native teachers are a separate service, not yet available.
Refunds and cancellation
The short version: credits and minutes you have used are never refundable, on any plan, monthly or yearly; there are no refunds if you change your mind, and you can cancel a plan at any time. The exceptions are below.
Credits you have used
Credits you have used are not refundable. Every minute of a live lesson costs us money to deliver, so minutes already used cannot be refunded. This applies to every purchase: a credit pack, an amount of credits you chose, a monthly plan and a yearly plan.
Unused credits
We do not give refunds if you change your mind. Unused credits are not refunded or exchanged for cash.
Credits last 12 months from the day they are added to your account, and the oldest are used first, so a credit is never lost while newer ones sit unused. Settings shows when your next credits expire. Credits added before 26 September 2026 keep the promise they were given and do not expire, and neither do credits bought through the App Store.
When we will refund or restore credits
Duplicate or wrong charges. If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged without your permission, we refund the extra charge in full.
Lessons that fail because of us. If a lesson stops or cannot be used because of a fault on our side, you are not charged for the affected minutes: the credits held for it go back automatically. If you think that did not happen, tell us within 30 days and we will check and put it right.
Mistaken purchase. If you bought credits or a plan by mistake, tell us within 7 days of the payment. If you have not used any lesson minutes since that payment, we refund it in full and remove the credits it added. If you have used any, it is not refunded, in full or in part. This is the only refund for a yearly plan.
If we stop the service. If Kruu Jaidee closes for good, we refund the unused part of any credits you paid for, pro rata.
Plans
Kruu Jaidee Lite (฿369 a month) and Full (฿1,000 a month) renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan and credits, in one step.
Yearly plans are paid for 12 months up front at a discount: two months free (three at launch, until 4 November 2026). Lite is ฿3,690 a year (฿3,321 at launch) and Full ฿10,000 a year (฿9,000 at launch). A yearly plan adds the same credits each month as the monthly plan, for 12 months, and renews automatically each year at the price you paid until you cancel.
Once you cancel, you are not charged again. The current month, or the rest of the current year on a yearly plan, is not refunded, but you keep every credit already added to your account, each for 12 months from the day it was added. On a yearly plan, the rest of the year's monthly credits keep arriving until the year you paid for ends.
If a yearly plan is refunded, for example as a mistaken purchase, the plan ends and the credits it added are removed.
Purchases through the App Store
If you paid through Apple, Apple handles refunds under its own rules; ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds a purchase, we remove the credits it added.
Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer law that applies to you. Where the law gives you a right to cancel or to a refund, that right applies in addition to this policy.
How to ask
Email hello@kruujai.com from the address on your account, with the date of the charge. We reply within 3 working days, and an approved refund goes back to the card or account you paid with within 15 days.
Refer and earn
The short version: share your link or code. A friend who joins through your link gets the discount shown on the invitation for their first month of a monthly plan. You earn 10% of each of their first 6 monthly payments, or 5% of a yearly payment, unless your link’s terms show a different commission. You can claim it to a Thai bank account or PromptPay. Who can take part
Anyone with a Kruu Jaidee account can get a link and a code in Settings → Refer and earn. Getting your link means you accept these terms. Payouts go to a Thai bank account or a PromptPay number only: you can share from anywhere, but to be paid you need a Thai account.
What your friend gets
A friend who signs up through your link within 60 days of opening it, or who types your code at checkout, gets the discount shown on the invitation for the first month of a monthly plan. The discount is for a first plan only and is never added to a yearly plan, which is already discounted. A friend can use one link or one code, never both, and the first person who referred them is the one who counts.
What you earn
When your friend pays for a monthly plan, you earn the standard commission, 10% of what they actually pay, for each of their first 6 paid months. When they pay for a yearly plan, you earn the standard 5% of that payment, once. The standard commission applies unless your link’s terms show a different one. A referral counts if your friend first subscribes within 90 days of signing up. Credit packs never earn commission.
Each commission keeps the rate it was earned at. If we change the terms, the change applies to payments made after it, and we tell you first.
Claiming
Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment, in case it is refunded. After that you can claim it. A claim takes everything ready to claim, and can be made once that reaches ฿500. The first time, we ask for the PromptPay phone number or Thai bank account to pay. We pay a claim within 7 days and email you when we have.
If we cannot pay a claim, for example because the account number is wrong or the name on the account is clearly not yours, we return it with the reason and the money goes back to your total so you can claim again.
Money that is ready to claim and not claimed within 6 months expires. Your Refer and earn page shows when the next amount expires.
If you delete your account, your link and code stop working, any claim not yet paid and any money not yet claimed is cancelled, and your payout details are deleted. The record of what we paid you is kept for our accounts.
Refunds, disputes and fair use
If a payment that earned you commission is refunded or disputed, its commission is taken back. If it was already paid to you, the amount comes off your next claim.
You may not refer yourself or another account of your own, pay for ads that use the name Kruu Jaidee, or send messages people did not ask for. We may pause a link, and take back commission earned against these terms. Pausing stops new commission; what you earned fairly stays yours to claim.
Tax and VAT
Commission is paid as the amount shown and includes any VAT. Any tax on what you earn is your responsibility.
